Muirne

In Goidelic mythology, Muirne was the wife of Cumhail and mother of Fionn mac Cumhail. Cumhail was murdered by his rival, Goll, and Muirne sent Fionne into the woods to escape the same fate. He was raised by Bodhmall, a Druid, and Liath Luachra, a warrior and trainer
