Moseley Ward Committee

The Moseley Ward Committee is part of the official structure of the Birmingham City Council (which governs Birmingham, England).

The Committee exists to discuss issues which effect life within the district, mostly (although not exclusively) related to the activity of the the council. Technically the Committee comprises of the three elected Ward Councillors for the area together with the Member of Parliament for the Selly Oak[?] Constituency of Birmingham. However, meetings are well attended with all of those in attendance not only debating the issues of concern to them but voting on policy.

Details of Ward Committee agendas and business can be obtained from the Birmingham City Council Web Site - http://www.birmingham.gov.uk

The Ward Committee works with The Moseley Ward Advisory Board[?] - a grouping of representatives from local groups and organisations - as a kind of executive for the full Ward Committee.

Current members of the Ward Committee are:

Cllr Ken Hardeman[?], Conservative Party; Cllr David Jepson[?], Labour Party; Cllr Bryan Nott[?], Labour Party;

Lynne Jones MP
