Milan Sufflay

Dr Milan Sufflay was a Croatian historian (specialising in Albanian literature and culture and with a high international reputation) who was assassinated on February 18, 1931 in Zagreb. His death led to a letter of condemnation[?] of the activities of the Serbian police co-signed by Albert Einstein and Heinrich Mann to the International League for Human Rights[?]. The letter was reprinted in full in the New York Times on May 6, 1931.
