Michel Platini (born June 21, 1955) is a retired French soccer player, former captain of the French national team.

Born in Joeuf[?], in France.

Teams:

Platini was, together with François-Cyrille Grange[?], the lighter of the Olympic Flame at the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville, France.
