Albertville

Albertville (population 20,000) is a town in southeast France, in the Savoie département, in the French Alps. The town is situated on the Arly River[?], close to the confluence with the Isère River[?].

The 1992 Winter Olympics were organised in the Savoie region, with Albertville as the central location. Many of the sports venues have since been deconstructed.
