Meppel

Meppel (population: 30,000) is a town in the northeastern Netherlands, in the province of Drenthe. The municipality covers an area of 58.00 km² (of which 0.63 km² water). The municipality of Meppel also includes the following towns, villages and townships: Broekhuizen[?], De Kolk[?], Havelterberg[?], Havixhorst[?], Kolderveen[?], Kolderveense Bovenboer[?], Lindenhorst[?], Nijentap[?], Nijeveen[?], Nijeveense Bovenboer[?], Rogat[?], Schiphorst[?].
