Mecano

Mecano is a techno-oriented pop band from Spain. Ana Torroja[?], Nacho[?] and José María Cano[?] became starts in 1981 (1981 in music) after their debut single, "Hoy No Me Puedo Levantar". Nacho Cano soon branched out in producing other bands, and both her and his sister wrote songs for other pop starts. They had another hit in 1986 (1986 in music) with "Me Cuesta Tanto Olvidarte". In 1991 (1991 in music), the band members decided to set out on solo careers.
