Marie-Louise Damien was a singer and actress who used the stage name Damia. She was born on December 5, 1889 in Paris, France .

A great star of the music hall era of Montparnasse, she was called "the tragic actress of song".

Damia died at La Celle-Saint-Cloud[?], France, in January, 1978.
