Machaon

In Greek mythology, Machaon was a son of Asclepius. With Polidarius, his brother, he led an army from Thessaly in the Trojan War on the side of the Greeks. Machaon healed Philoctetes during the battle.

He was buried in Gerenia[?] in Messenia, where he was worshipped by the people.
