Lyme Park

Lyme Park is an estate and park in the county of Cheshire, near Disley. It includes Lyme Park, the location for "Pemberley", the home of Mr. Darcy in the BBC's adaptation of Jane Austen's novel Pride and Prejudice.

The parkland is a habitat for many red deer[?] and fallow deer[?]. There is an unusual landmark, "The Cage", a folly which served as a watchtower from which to follow the stag hunts. The lake is in front of Lyme Hall. There are also an orangery[?] and a sunken Dutch garden.
