Lubbeek is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Flemish Brabant. The municipality comprises the towns of Binkom[?], Linden[?], Lubbeek proper and Pellenberg[?]. On January 1st, 2000 Lubbeek had a total population of 13,620 (6,840 males and 6,780 females). The total area is 44.91 km² which gives a population density of 303.27 inhabitants per km².
