Love and Rockets

Love and Rockets was formed by Bauhaus alumni Daniel Ash (guitars, saxophone, and vocals), David J. (bass and vocals) and Kevin Haskins (drums, synthesizers) after Peter Murphy wasn't interested in reforming Bauhaus in the late 1980s.

Although not as enduring as its predecessor band, Love and Rockets scored hits in 1987 and 1989 with "No New Tale to Tell" and "So Alive," respectively.

They are largely assumed to have named themselves after the independent comic[?] by Jaime[?] and Gilbert Hernandez
