- Australia (retired)
- note: Australia's last aircraft carrier fleet was decommissioned in 1982. The current Sydney and Melbourne are guided missile frigates, and the current Albatross is a naval base on land near Nowra[?].
- Brazil (active)
- Minas Gerais[?], purchased from UK in 1956, formerly HMS Vengeance, decommissioned 2001.
- São Paulo[?] - purchased from France in 2001, formerly Foch.
- Canada (retired)
- note: Canada's last aircraft carrier was decommissioned in 1970.
Only Hosho, Junyo, Kumano Maru, and Ryuho survived the war and these were scrapped by 1948.
- Soviet Union (retired)
- Varyag - later owned by Ukraine and sold to China.
- US Navy (under construction)
