Liaison aircraft

A liaison aircraft is a small aircraft used by military forces for flying from airbase to airbase, typically ferrying commanders. The aircraft are also used for battlefield reconnaissance, air ambulance, messaging services and other duties. Most liaison aircraft are developed from, or are later used as, general aviation light planes.
