Lester B. Pearson International Airport near Toronto, Canada, is one of Canada's top airport facilities. It is actually located in Mississauga, Ontario. It was named after Lester B. Pearson, Canada's 14th prime minister. It is also known by its IATA designation as YYZ.

It is, along with Dorval International Airport[?] in Montreal, one of the biggest international aviation facilities in Canada as well as a hub for Air Canada.

After the September 11, 2001 Terrorist Attack, Lester B. Pearson International received many of the diverted flights that were coming into or leaving the United States. All civil aviation flights over North America were suspended for 3 days and ordered to land immediately.
