El Al Israeli Airlines (Hebrew "Skyward") are the national airline of Israel and are well-known for their strict security.
El Al was established in late 1948, just after the new country was founded. They currently employ a fleet of about 30 aircraft, all Boeings (747, 757, 767 and 777 models).
