Leon Schlumpf

Leon Schlumpf (born on February 3, 1925), Swiss politician.

He was elected to the Federal Council of Switzerland on December 5, 1979 and handed over office on December 31, 1987. He is affiliated to the Swiss People's Party[?]. During his office time he held the Federal Department of Transport, Communications and Energy[?].

He was president of Switzerland in 1984.
