Leeuwarderadeel (population: 10,650) is a municipality in the northern Netherlands, in the province of Friesland. The municipality covers an area of 41.38 km². The municipality of Leeuwarderadeel consists the following towns, villages and townships: Bartlehiem[?], Britsum[?], Cornjum[?], Finkum[?], Hijum[?], Jelsum[?], Oude Leije[?], Stiens[?].
