Lauch Faircloth

Duncan McLauchlin Faircloth (better known as Lauch Faircloth) (born 1928) served as a Republican U.S. Senator from North Carolina. He was elected in 1992 by defeating Democrat Terry Sanford[?] and served from 1993 to 1999.

Faircloth was defeated in his 1998 reelection bid by Democrat John Edwards.
