Lasalle, a small town in southern Ontario, is situated in Essex county[?], Ontario. It is on the border of the Detroit River and is right next to Windsor, Ontario. The population of Lasalle is well under 50,000. Lasalle is the oldest French settlement in southwestern Ontario.
One of Lasalle's biggest events is the Strawberry Festival[?], which happens each year in the month of June.
