Labor Party of America

The Labor Party of America is a progressive political party advocating worker's interests. Membership is around 5000.

Formed in 1995 by the United Mine Workers, the Longshoremen[?], American Federation of Government Employees[?], California Nurses Association[?] and hundreds of other labor unions. This organization allied itself with the Green Party of Wyoming in 1998 to field its first candidates for local and federal offices.
