Kortemark

Kortemark is a municipality located in the Belgian province of West Flanders. The municipality comprises the towns of Handzame[?], Kortemark proper, Werken[?] and Zarren[?]. On January 1st, 2000 Kortemark had a total population of 12,232 (6,145 males and 6,087 females). The total area is 55.53 km² which gives a population density of 220.28 inhabitants per km².
