The Kewet was orignally developed and produced in Hadsund Denmark in the period 1991 to 1995. Production moved to Nordhausen[?] Germany for a while, but there were problems, and it was later relocated back to Hadsund. Production rights were then acquired by Kollega Bil in 1998.
