Kahomovailahi

In Polynesian mythology (specifically: Samoa), Kahomovailahi is a blind, ancient navigator. He could feel the sea with his hand and know the location of his ship. His descendants, who kept this skill, were called Fafaki-Tahi[?] ("feelers of the ocean").
