Hebe

Redirected from Juventas

In Greek mythology, Hebe was the goddess of youth (Roman equivalent: Juventas). She was the cupbearer for the gods until she was replaced by Ganymede. She also drew baths for Ares and helped Hera enter her chariot. Hebe married Heracles.

In art, she was usually depicted wearing a sleeveless dress.

In Roman mythology, Juventas ("youth") received a coin offering from boys when they put on the adult men's toga for the first time.
