JTF-CNO

JTF-CNO is the U.S. Space Command[?]'s Joint Task Force - Computer Network Operations. Located at DISA headquarters, JTF-CNO is tasked with a variety of network attack/defense duties. JTF-CNO became an operational entity in 1998, in response to a variety of security incidents affecting United States military network interests.

Inititially known as JTF-CND [Joint Task Force - Computer Network Defense], JTF-CNO was later assigned to CINC Space Command with partially revised and diversified functions. JTF-CNO cooperates with a variety of agencies involved in similar areas on varying strata of the defense and intelligence communities.
