Joseph Isaac Schneersohn (1880 - 1950) was the sixth Rebbe of the Chabad Lubavitch Hasidic Judaism movement. After many years of fighting to keep Judaism alive in the Soviet Union, he was forced into exile in the United States. He was the father-in-law to the last Rebbe Rabbi Menachem Mendel Shneerson.
