Jorge Porcel

Jorge Raul Porcel De Peralta (born September 7, 1936) is a comedy actor from Argentina. He is considered by many fans, critics and colleagues alike as the greatest comedian ever from that country. He is nicknamed El Gordo De America or America's Fat Guy (America in that case meaning every territory from Argentina to Alaska).

Porcel made a total of 48 movies, starting with 1962's Disloque En Mar Del Plata, and ending with 1988's El Profesor Punk. Many of these 48 movies were collaborations with another famous Argentinan[?] comedy actor, Alberto Olmedo[?], who died tragically in 1989 after falling off a twelfth floor. Among the movies they did together was 1986's Rambito Y Rambon: Primera Mision. (Little Rambo and Big Rambo: First Mission)

Porcel most of the times played characters that would have possibly enraged many of today's feminists, but he also played transvestites and other types of men during his career.

After he retired from filming movies in Argentina, he moved to Miami, where he starred in a show named A La Cama Con Porcel (To Bed With Porcel), and was given a chance at a cameo in Hollywood production Carlitos Way[?].

He is currently touring Latin America to promote an autobiography, visiting such places as Puerto Rico and some other countries in that endeavor. He has also become a newborn Christian
