John Taylor was Proctor of Queens' College[?] 1523-1537, M.A., B.D., D.D. Bursar. Master of St John's, 1538-46. Rector of St Peter Cornhill, London, of Tatenhill, Staffs., Dean of Lincoln; Reformer, Commissioner for the first Prayer Book. Bishop of Lincoln (deprived 1554). d.1554.
