John G. Bennett student of
G. I. Gurdjieff, an author of many books on the teachings of Gurdjieff and an engineer. He met Gurdjieff while he was a British Navy officer in
Constantinople (present day
Istanbul) in
1920-
1922 and then helped to direct the work of Gurdjieff in England after Gurdjieff arrived in Paris.
