John Butler Yeats

John Butler Yeats (1839-1922) was the father of William Butler Yeats and Jack Butler Yeats.

He is an artist known for his portraits and landscapes. Examples of his work can be seen at the National Gallery of Ireland (http://www.nationalgallery.ie).
