Jochen Rindt

Jochen Rindt (April 18, 1942 - September 5, 1970) was an Austrian racing driver.

He was born in Germany.

Rindt won the 1970 Formula One World Championship, in spite of his fatal accident in a practice lap for that year's Italian Grand Prix at Monza. Hereby he became motor racing's first posthumous World Champion.

He died in Italy.
