Jean-Luc Lagardère

Jean-Luc Lagardère, February 10, 1928 - March 14, 2003) was a major French businessman.

Jean-Luc Lagardère was a Supelec engineer. He began his career at Dassault Aviation. CEO of Matra in the 1960s, he became famous with success in Formula 1 and Le Mans. He later built a large media and defense conglomerate that bears his name. The Lagardère Group is among the largest French enterprises.
