Jay and Silent Bob

Jay and Silent Bob are the names of two characters created by actor-writer-director Kevin Smith and appearing in several of his movies. Jay is portrayed by actor Jason Mewes[?] as an oversexed, overdrugged, hyper long-hair. Silent Bob, as portrayed by Smith, is his best friend, who rarely says anything, but says it eloquently.
