Jalapa, Mexico

Jalapa, sometimes also spelled Xalapa, also known as Jalapa Enriquez, is a city in the state of Veracruz, Mexico; it is the capital of Veracruz (state). In 1995 it had a population of 336,632 people.

It has been a sister city of Covina, California since 1964.
