Jaeger

Jaegers is the North American name for the smaller species of the seabirds in the skua family.

Jääkari/Jägare are the Finnish/Swedish name of Finnish Jaeger troops.

Jägers is also the name of elite troops of light infantery, originally a Prussian invention, see: Jaegers.
