Jacqueline Cochran

Jacqueline Cochran (May 11, ?1908 - August 7, 1980) was an American aviator.

She was born in Pensacola, Florida.

At Rogers Dry Lake[?], California on May 18, 1953 Cochran flew in a F-86 Sabrejet[?] at an average speed of 652.337 miles-per-hour becoming the first woman to break the sound barrier.
