Irish Sea

The Irish Sea separates the islands of Ireland from Great Britain. It is connected to the Atlantic Ocean on the north by the North Channel[?] and on the south by St. George's Channel[?].

The Isle of Man lies in the middle of the Irish Sea.

There are ferry connections on the Irish Sea from Britain to Ireland from Holyhead to Dun Laoghaire, from Fishguard/Pembroke, Wales to Rosslare[?], Stranraer to Belfast and Larne[?]; Cairnryan[?] to Larne[?]; Swansea to Cork. There is also a connection between Liverpool and Belfast via the Isle of Man.
