Internet Software Consortium

The Internet Software Consortium (ISC) is an organization that was founded by Rick Adams[?] and Paul Vixie with funding from UUNet to develop and support a number of reference implementations of internet software.

Software currently developed at the ISC includes BIND, DHCP and INN.

The ISC also hosts one of the 13 root nameservers (F) and an archive of usenet newgroup and rmgroup messages.
