Soldiers of the U.S. 3rd Infantry (the "Old Guard[?]") are shown on maneuvers in the summer of 1942 as part of the defense of St Johns, Newfoundland[?]. The Jeep is mounted with a small-caliber cannon and a Browning 1917A1[?] machine gun.
