Huntingdonshire

Huntingdonshire is a traditional county of England, United Kingdom around the towns of Huntingdon, St Ives[?], Godmanchester[?], St Neots[?], Ramsey and Fletton[?]. It was absorbed into Cambridgeshire in 1974 for administrative purposes. The present Huntingdonshire District Council covers almost the same area as the old county, but without Fletton (which is now a district of the City of Peterborough) and with Eaton Socon[?] (traditionally in Bedfordshire).
