Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 180.0 km² (69.5 mi²). 178.0 km² (68.7 mi²) of it is land and 1.9 km² (0.7 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 1.07% water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 214 people, 94 households, and 59 families residing in the township. The population density is 1.2/km² (3.1/mi²). There are 227 housing units at an average density of 1.3/km² (3.3/mi²). The racial makeup of the township is 64.02% White, 0.00% African American, 26.64% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 2.80% from other races, and 6.54% from two or more races. 3.27% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 94 households out of which 24.5% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 58.5% are married couples living together, 5.3% have a female householder with no husband present, and 36.2% are non-families. 33.0% of all households are made up of individuals and 8.5% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older.
