Horta

Horta is a port town on the island of Faial[?] in the Azores. Postage stamps inscribed "Horta" were used there around the beginning of the 20th century.

In Etruscan mythology, Horta was the goddess of agriculture.

In the fictional universe of Star Trek, the Horta are a Silicon-based lifeform, introduced in the TOS episode The Devil in the Dark.

In architecture, Victor Horta[?] was a Belgian who worked in the Art Nouveau style.
