Hercules emulator

The Hercules emulator is an emulator for the IBM mainframe hardware: the System/370, System/390 and zSeries computers. It runs under Linux and Windows and is released under the free software license QPL. It emulates the hardware only; the operating system has to be supplied by the user. The IBM operating systems MVS, OS/390 and VM/CMS run under the emulator, but in most cases they cannot legally be used for license reasons. The public domain system OS/360 as well as Linux/390 can be run under the emulator however.
