Linux/390

Linux/390, also called Linux for S/390, is a port of the Linux operating system to IBM's System 390 hardware. IBM published Linux/390 on December 18, 1999 as a collection of patches and additions to the Linux 2.2.13 code base. It can run natively on System 390 hardware or under IBM's VM operating system. In the latter scenario, many hundred copies of Linux/390 can run simultaneously and isolated from each other on the same mainframe.
