Helm's Deep

In J. R. R. Tolkien's fictional realm of Middle-earth, Helm's Deep is the traditional refuge of the people of Rohan in time of war.

One of the turning points of the war depicted in the Lord of the Rings trilogy was a battle that occurred here.
