Helen Gardner

Helen Gardner (1909-1986) was an English literary critic.

A fellow of St Hilda's College, Oxford from 1942, she became professor of English literature in the University of Oxford in 1966. She edited The New Oxford Book of English Verse[?], 1250-1950.
