Heist-op-den-Berg

Heist-op-den-Berg is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Antwerp. The municipality comprises the towns of Booischot[?], Hallaar[?], Heist-op-den-Berg proper, Itegem[?], Schriek[?] and Wiekevorst[?]. On January 1st, 2000 Heist-op-den-Berg had a total population of 37,233 (18,532 males and 18,701 females). The total area is 86.54 km² which gives a population density of 430.24 inhabitants per km².
