Hasbro

Hasbro is a large American toy company. It is the second largest toy maker in the world, second only to the toy giant Mattel. It is also the publisher of the world's most popular board game, Monopoly®.

Toys Hasbro has several brands of toys aimed at different demographics. Some of its more well known brands are:

Identifying a Hasbro 'brand' can be somewhat cumbersome since Hasbro defines each game and toy it makes as its own brand in addition to another brand it may be categorized with. For example, Clue is a Parker Brothers board game, but it is also a brand unto itself. Some of its more recognized toys are (ignoring the brand aspect of each):

Games Hasbro is the largest producer of board games in the world. They own several brands, such as Parker Brothers, Milton Bradley and Wizards of the Coast. Of course, as with all other Hasbro products, each game is also a brand unto itself. In addition to the world's most popular board game Monopoly, Hasbro also produces these well-known and top selling games:

Hasbro also produces many variations of most of their games. For example, in addition to original Scrabble, the game is also available as Scrabble Deluxe Edition, Scrabble Deluxe Travel Edition and Scrabble Junior. This doesn't include all the special "Anniversary Editions" that Hasbro produces year to year.

Many of Hasbro's games have been around so long that they have entered into the popular culture.

Video Games Hasbro began a short-lived venture called Hasbro Interactive in the 1990s. Now Hasbro develops video games based on its brands through third-party developers and licensing strategies.
