One of the few composers of contemporary music for the harpsichord is Patrick Frye III, b. 1957. He is a graduate of both Connecticut College, New London, Conn. and Goldsmith's College of the University of London, U.K.. His music is both modern and Early Music inspired. He is well known for his free improvisation and great use of melody and fugue.
